The apartments are located at the historic centre of Toledo, in the heart of the Old Jewish quarter, where an ancient mansion of the XVII century lied. This mansion belonged to the “Condes de Cedillo y Palazuelo “, an aristocratic family of Toledo.

It is perfectly situated, 5 -10 minutes walking from the main monuments and interesting places, Cathedral, Synagogues, Mosques, and main Museums.

The mansion is an unique building in Toledo, due to some special characteristics such as the coat of arms, one of the oldest to be found in a civilian building ( XVIII century), or the main façade to Plaza de Marrón , totally restored as it was in the XVII century.

Besides residential use for centuries, the building was Governor´s house in the 20´s, and more recently a Private School until its refurbishment.

It also has vestiges of it´s “Andalusí” or Hispanic-Arab times, before XVII century, such as a big “zaguán” or entrance, which kept intimacy from outside, and the inscriptions with Arabic characters in the “patio”.

From the XVII century, in Christian times, we can see the columns and the decorative elements on top of the access door to the “patio” with the medieval “Orden de Santiago” Cross.
